A statement from the Casper Association regarding its current token sale on CoinList.
Earlier this week, the Casper community impressed us once again with its interest in the project and commitment to growing the Casper ecosystem. Option 3 of the CSPR token sale concluded in less than 20 minutes, distributing 4% of the total Casper token supply. The CSPR token sale has set the record for the most participants in CoinList token sale history, and it has ensured there will be a strong foundation for the Casper Network from day one.
Options 1, 2, and 3 of the Casper Token Sale had over 20,000 unique participants and distributed 16% of the total CSPR supply to the community.
Announcing CSPR Token Sale “Option 4”
We are ecstatic for what the success of the sale means for the strength of the Casper Network. We also acknowledge that due to the unprecedented demand, a majority of registrants have been unable to participate in Options 1, 2, or 3. To show our appreciation to the community and to continue marching towards decentralization and an even broader ecosystem, we’re excited to announce the Community Members Sale (Option 4).
Option 4 will distribute an additional 1% (100m) of token supply to the community. Each successful participant in Option 4 will be able to purchase $100 of CSPR (6,666 tokens) at the same terms as Option 1 ($0.015 per token with a 12-month lockup followed by a 6-month vest/release). This will allow an additional 15,000 community members to purchase CSPR. The token sale will be available only to individuals who had already registered and been KYC verified for the sale but were not able to successfully participate in Options 1, 2, or 3.
Complete details about this final option in our sale, including exact date (anticipated for first week of April), queuing and participation, will be announced by CoinList soon, with plenty of advanced time. Please be patient and stay tuned!
